Download the iTunes program. This can be done by clicking "download" on the "iPod" of the Apple Web site. Follow the prompts to complete the installation.
Locate your computer CD player and insert an audio CD.
Open iTunes. The contents of the CD seems to be a track list in the iTunes window. If you have Internet access, iTunes search for a database of information about songs, including name, artist and album. If you do not have Internet access, enter them yourself by highlighting a song, and clicking the field you want to change, then enter the new data.
Deciding what songs you do not want to copy it to your iTunes music library in the list of songs. Click on the small check-marked box next to the name of the song, when a box no longer hook, you cleared this song and it will not be imported.
Copy the selected songs from the list of tracks on your computer by clicking on the Import button in the upper right corner of the iTunes window. When the pieces were successfully copied and added to your iTunes music library, to remove the CD and then delete it from your computer.
Use the USB cable that came with your iPod to connect it to your computer.
Wait for iTunes to recognize the connection to your iPod. Select the tab "iPod" icon once it is displayed in the iTunes window. This will open the "Summary" tab in the iTunes window.
Select "Synchronize Music" for your iPod automatically copy all the music stored in your iTunes library, or choose "Manually Manage Music" to be more selective about what you are transferring songs on your iPod.
Highlight tracks you want to transfer your iTunes library, then click, drag and releasing them over the iPod icon.
Leave the iPod to load new songs, and then disconnect your iPod updated by clicking on "Eject" icon in the iTunes window. Remove the USB cable when prompted.
